Words that don't exist but should (XIV in a very occasional series)

Hevel verb trans - to groom, arrange in order, make presentable; the opposite of which is to dishevel, or make dishevelled.

well - i think that's absolutely right. and when did you last hear about someone being gormful?

'les fleurs du mall' is at your disposal. make free with them fleurs - be my guest. (anyway, i feel slightly dirty about the whole thing because i thought of the title first and the post second)

Are you technologically minded enough to set up a UGC website for these words, inviting contributions from linguophiles around the world?

I think it might go nuclear.

I should add that I'm serious. I think it's, like, a totally ferior idea

That's actually a good idea. I am minded to do it. But not technologically minded. I could set up a separate blog and dole out passwords - but is there a cleverer way?

I notice that the domain 'wiktionary' has already gone. And wikisaurus has been coined too.

(By the way, I get a fair few random hits on this blog from people googling 'words that don't exist but should'.)

I like to think I'm a fairly reckful
driver, though I'm somewhat less than fantile if someone cuts me up.
